Just a short note to let everyone know how important of a role the Time Entry System plays in our organization.   Our existing legacy system did not provide us with the capabilities we were looking for as we grew organizationally.  As a result, we began an extensive analysis of time reporting tools for small companies.

We stumbled across the Time Entry system authored by Paul Jones.   After carefully reviewing the benefits it provided, we had a long discussion on whether we should trust our most important set of data (time charged to clients) to a product that was not provided by one of the larger, and more established, financial software providers.  If we don't charge our customers correctly, the ramifications could range from loss of customer goodwill to loss of revenue.

During testing and verification, we couldn't be more pleased with the software.   It is stable, easy to tailor to meet our needs and rock solid. After extensive testing, not one data element was incorrect when we compared the output from the old and new systems.  The one change that we couldn't perform ourselves (remember, we aren't coders here, we are a DBA services provider), Paul Jones did for us very quickly.

The product is flexible, stable and works as advertised.
